Engineered timber floors have a top wear layer allowing most to be re-sanded once or twice after initial installation, however due to this timber having extra depth in its wear layer of 5mm when most are 3mm you can choose your the desired finish ie: Matt, Satin or Gloss unlike pre-finished Engineered timbers.
