Jarrah Standard & Better 65x12mm timber boards.

The timber is medium to dark red/brown with occasional pale sapwood. Generally, the overall appearance of Jarrah flooring is reasonably consistent in colour with variations in colour tones between individual boards. Grain is interlocked or wavy with a medium to coarse texture, and some boards can contain gum pockets or streaks as naturally occurring and can also exhibit a curly figure.

Newer Jarrah from regrowth plantations tends to be lighter than old growth used in older homes so it is important to consider this if extending or working on a renovation that has older Jarrah floor boards.

Note as timber is a natural product colours can vary considerably between batches
