Engineered timber floors are made up of several layers, providing excellent stability as the cross-laminated formation significantly reduces expansion and contraction of the timber in changing climatic conditions.

Engineered timber floors have a top wear layer allowing them to be re-sanded once or twice after initial installation. This Blackbutt pre-finished classic matt brushed floor has a 4mm wear layer depth, providing a longer life than traditional engineered floors with a 3mm wear layer.
